Edinburgh Thoracic CT Course 3-4 April 2017

Venue: Edinburgh Training and Conference Centre, St Mary’s Street, Edinburgh EH1 1SU, 
 
The 2-day course is designed to help you develop a systematic method of reviewing thoracic CT scans, and includes a combination of lectures and hands-on CT scan review with chest radiology experts. It is especially geared towards clinicians and trainees who are looking for a deeper understanding of CT scanning of thoracic disease but is also appropriate for radiology trainees and non-chest radiology consultants.
 
Over 100 thoracic CT scans available for review on dedicated workstations (maximum 2 delegates per workstation).
 
Awarded 14 CPD credits by the Royal College of Radiologists.

New Technologies in Thoracic Oncology Conference 28 April 2017
 
The course will help participants to appreciate the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating thoracic malignancies and understand roles of thoracic surgery in the era of targeted therapy and the impact of new technologies. Physicians and allied health professionals will improve their understanding of contemporary, minimally-invasive surgical approaches to lung cancer and multimodality approach for pulmonary metastases, advanced tumour and rare thoracic malignancies.
